This painting was inspired by gorgeous flowers purchased at the flower markets in Brisbane. I captured this moment on a clear winter morning with the sun streaming in lighting up the leaves and petals. It is painted in my signature style of fresh colour and bold brush painterly strokes. This is a classic Hampton’s style floral with the blue and white ceramic so I kept the colour palette clean and classic.
