This piece forms part of a collection of paintings created on retreat in the rural north-east of Tasmania. Tasmania is full of natural beauty and it felt impossible to capture everything I was inspired by. This collection is my humble attempt.
After a week of painting the sunrise I was keen to paint it again but in studio conditions with more time and on a bigger panel. This was painted as part of a demonstration using some of the studies from the previous week as a guide to colour and temperature.

The painting has been finished with a light coat of protective varnish. All photographs have been taken in natural lighting and all attempts have been made to represent the correct colouring - however variations are possible between different digital screens.
Please allow 3-5 days to be shipped. In some cases if purchase has taken place shortly after the piece was completed more drying time will be required. Most pieces are dry within 5-7 days. If the weather is not hot it can take a few extra days. Please take this into account with shipping times.
