Painted as a class demonstration from a photograph I took at Government House Open Day a few years ago. Everyone was dressed for a sunny picnic with lovely dresses and big hats so I had to snap off a few quick pics. I loved their colourful hats and handbags and was excited to see them in paint. This painting goes nicely with the one of gentleman who was following along slowly behind them (Paintings are being sold separately)
