Day 3 #stradaeasel challenge
I’m leaning into these yellow dahlia. I had to use some artistic licence as they didn’t cope so well with the dramatic lighting yesterday. It was nice to try a macro view after the still life yesterday. Not sure they’ll make it to tomorrow so hopefully there’s something else blooming in the garden for me.

Paintings are finished with a light coat of protective varnish. All photographs have been taken in natural lighting and all attempts have been made to represent the correct colouring - however variations are possible between different digital screens.
