I love painting the drama of intense sunshine so today I made sure I was in my studio just when the light would be beaming through the window. These special dahlias are homegrown by me 😃 and possibly the only ones I’ll get in the garden this season due to the bugs. 😭

Paintings are finished with a light coat of protective varnish. All photographs have been taken in natural lighting and all attempts have been made to represent the correct colouring - however variations are possible between different digital screens.
