This painting was created as part of a 31 Day Painting Challenge in January.
It was painted in oil paints, plein air on location on a panel and finished with a light varnish.
Plein air paintings have a lovely loose energy and bold brush strokes due to the speed in which they are painted on location. This does also mean that occasionally they suffer small imperfections like a bug or finger print in the paint.
Paintings are photographed in natural light to represent colours as accurately as possible. Painting will need a frame to be hung but is sized to fit most common premade frames.
